This figure is a good visualization of the growth of consciousness (fungus) after reaching the spore stage. Within the collective consciousness is the growth of technology, as technology slows its plateaus. This allows for individual spikes within the collective consciousness to rise as new discovery and information that excels the growth of technology again, till it reaches another plateau.
